Are you studying the consquences of the US Republican political party, or republicanism? To call the actions of the GOP anything of a shade of "republicanism" is madness.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;I find that our President agrees with me less as time goes on, and find term limits refreshing. If only we extended such grace to members of our Congress. I would that we had more Cincinnatii's to return to the plow. However, I find the president oddly right on this. Central planning can never consider all its consequences. &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;For example, raising a tax to fund such a program could quite possibly reduce the income of some who now barely pay for their own healthcare to a level where they would be unable to. This is simply one example of the evils of central planning and its expansion.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;I, for one, am outraged that you would support such a measure.
